The Redcliffe Singers (originally The Steamship Singers) started as an "enrichment" activity for staff and volunteers on the wonderful SS Great Britain, the jewel in Bristol's touristic crown. And enrich it certainly does, having proved invaluable as a vibrant social link in weekly Zoom rehearsals during the pandemic. Our first performance was aboard ship for the Victorian Christmas weekend in 2019. In 2022, we felt the need to jump ship and renamed ourselves The Redcliffe Singers and moved to a new rehearsal space.
In July 2021 we sang at the first ever Ham Farm Festival, followed by a busy schedule of Christmas engagements including the iconic St Mary Redcliffe's Treefest! and the spiritual Anglican Chapel in Arnos Vale Cemtery.

The choir is relaxed and always up for a laugh, but not at the expense of choral standards! We rehearse on Thursdays 5.30-7.15pm in Faith Space, Prewett st, BS1 6PB There are no auditions, and everyone is welcome: just send Anya an email if you're interested in coming along for a free trial rehearsal.
