The Redcliffe Singers (originally The Steamship Singers) started as an "enrichment" activity for staff and volunteers on the wonderful SS Great Britain, the jewel in Bristol's touristic crown. And enrich it certainly does, having proved invaluable as a vibrant social link in weekly Zoom rehearsals during the pandemic. Our first performance was aboard ship for the Victorian Christmas weekend in 2019. In 2022, we felt the need to jump ship and renamed ourselves The Redcliffe Singers and moved to a new rehearsal space.
In July 2021 we sang at the first ever Ham Farm Festival, followed by a busy schedule of Christmas engagements including the iconic St Mary Redcliffe's Treefest!, now an annual fixture, and the spiritual Anglican Chapel in Arnos Vale Cemetery.
